Our story

WomenUnbound began with a simple yet profound realisation: the way we’ve been taught to work and lead isn’t working—for women or for the world.

Our story started a decade ago in Beirut, where we worked in humanitarian aid. As friends and colleagues, we often found ourselves reflecting on the tension between being women and being leaders. We saw how the systems around us dehumanised not only the work but also the people within it, forcing us to conform to models that felt disconnected and unsustainable.

That tension deepened as we became mothers, entrepreneurs, and leaders. We realised how much of ourselves we had silenced to fit into a system that wasn’t built for us—and how that cost us not only our authenticity but also the impact we could have made.

These experiences mirrored the challenges women face everywhere: systemic barriers, devaluing of identities, and a profound disconnect that leads to burnout and stagnation.

WomenUnbound was born from our desire to bridge this gap. We believe there’s a better way to lead and create change—one that starts from within. By reconnecting to our authentic selves, we can reimagine leadership, foster sustainable work environments, and build systems that value humanity over conformity.

Today, we work with incredible women navigating these challenges, helping them lead with authenticity and purpose while creating change in their organisations and communities.

Our mission is simple: to empower women to lead and live differently, transforming not only their own lives but the systems around them.

We are here to make leadership more human and the world more equitable—one woman at a time.
